“You can never go wrong with chocolate.” She giggled, once again. Something about him was always able to make her laugh and smile; she just couldn’t help it when with him. “Interesting like how? I came back from Brazil, and just had the coolest motorcycle ride ever. I think that’s pretty interesting for not even being back 24 hours,” she teased with a wide smile on her face that refused to go away.

“Hahaha! I meant what else did you did in Brazil actually.” He shook his head at her mistake. “But i’m glad you enjoyed the ride. I love my bike. If I could, I would marry it. She’s my baby.”

“I already told you. Lots of city, and lots of beach. Everything is different there. You can just see the culture, it’s remarkable. I had a great time.” Hearing him talk about his bike like that, it was cute. Like the way she imagined a musician would talk about his guitar. “I know you told me not to, but I worked on some rough draft character sketches.”

Esme didn’t know why, but she was really excited to see Mike. Yes, she had a lot of fun on her trip, but every night, before she went to bed, she would look at the dream catcher he gave her, and indeed think of him. Just like she said she would….

Mike hugged her back and felt a warm feeling envelop him. Boy had he missed her. When they broke away he looked at his wall of papers and scowled. “I hate this. I can’t seem to write anything lately. And i’ve tried everything!” He threw his arms in the air with exasperation and frowned. “But whatever. Maybe lunch will clear my head of whatever’s causing my block.” He stood and grabbed his jacket and keys to his bike. “Shall we take my motorcycle? Or do you want to walk?”

“Aw, I’m sorry hun. I’ll try to distract you.” Esme knew just how frustrating any type of creative block could be. She hated it when it happened to her. It drove her completely nuts. Her smile grew wider, as did her excitement. “You have a bike?!” she asked, her eyes going wide as if he was holding candy in front of a child. “Ya, let’s take your motorcycle!”

Mike laughed as he watched her reaction. “Okay, let’s go then. Percy, be good now, ya here?” He followed her out the door and locked it behind them. “So what did you guys do in Brazil? Did you hike? I heard they’ve got great trails.” As they made their way to the parking lot, Mike debated internally on whether he should hold her hand or not. What if she was with Rob and this was just a friendly outing? What if she thought it’d be weird? He shook his head to clear the annoying thoughts. Mike hated ‘what if’ situations.

“Nope, no hiking. We went to the beach and spent a lot of time in the city. It was very lively. Though I think that’s due to the after affects of Carnival.” As they walked side by side to the parking lot, their hands brushed a few times. She debated with herself whether she should hold his hand like she had before but decided against it, not wanting to make him uncomfortable. As they entered the parking lot, Esme spotting his bike, being that it was the only one there aside from Nicole’s, and started walking toward it.

“Well the beaches have gotten a lot of publicity too.” He grabbed one of his helmets and handed it to her with a smile. He actually didn’t want to talk about Brazil at all, but it would seem rude not to. Hopping on the bike, he started it up and reveled in its roar. Gosh did he love his bike. “Hop on milady, you’re noble steed awaits you.”

Esme eagerly took the helmet from Mike, strapping it on her head before getting on the bike behind him. She wove her arms around his torso tightly, as she started to feel butterflies in her stomach again. ‘for heavens sake girl, it’s just a motorcycle ride.’ She sighed, as her own mind argued with itself once more. Before she knew it, they were moving, and the wind was blowing through her hair, and cleared her mind of all it’s bitterness. If there was a particular feeling she loved, this would be one of them.

Unlike the outing with Sia, Mike felt that Esme could handle the rush, so he popped a wheelie. “Woohoo!” He shouted as it touched the road again. They sped off towards town and Mike shouted over his shoulder, “Where do you wanna go?”

Esme screamed with thrill and held onto Mike tighter. Now that was something Nicole hadn’t done. She spoke at a normal volume since his ear was right near her mouth anyway. “Take a left at this next light. It’s an american diner, you can’t miss it.” She didn’t have this kind of fun with anyone else, and she would always love Mike for that, platonically or not.

“You got it dude.” Mike shouted over the wind. He laughed as he weaved in and out of the cars, turning at the light she told him to. It wasn’t long before he spotted the little diner. Pulling up to the curb, Mike let the bike run for a moment longer before regretfully shutting her off. “Fun, right? Now what’s good here?” He hopped off and raced to hold the door for her.

“Oh my gosh. That was so much fun! Tell me why you haven’t shown me that before?” she joked. She really did have so much fun doing something so, in a way, simple. She hurried and took off her helmet before rushing next to Mike and taking his hand as she walked into the restaurant, bringing him in tow behind her. “Everything is good here. There is no going wrong.” She walked to the front, saw the ‘seat yourself’ sign and grabbed two menus, before heading toward a booth.

Mike let her pull him around and smiled. Wow was she bossy. But it was a good kind. A fun kind. He slid into the booth and looked through the menu. “Ooo! Their shakes sound delicious. And maybe i’ll get one of these burgers as well. What are you getting? I trust your experience more than what they put in print.” He laughed lightly and watched her with adoring eyes. He was happy that she was back. Now he had a friend to replace the one he had lost, Felicia.

Esme started to mindlessly flip through the menu, not really reading it, just sort of looking at the pictures. “Probably the patty melt. And the shakes are amazing. I’m debating between mint chocolate or banana chocolate.” She looked back up at Mike and smiled at him. The phrase ‘one door closes and another opens’ really applied here. She had lost Max, and she got Mike. Amazing, sweet, funny, Mike.

“Blech. I hate mint. And banana. I’m just going to get the chocolate one. I love chocolate.” His stomach growled audibly and he laughed. “See?” Their waitress came over and took their orders. “So Esme, anything else interesting happen?”

“You can never go wrong with chocolate.” She giggled, once again. Something about him was always able to make her laugh and smile; she just couldn’t help it when with him. “Interesting like how? I came back from Brazil, and just had the coolest motorcycle ride ever. what moment?

Jeira. I knew the cuteness was too good to be true.

You wish you knew how my mind worked. Who’s to say that EVEN more Jeira cuteness is about to erupt.

I don’t think anyone could ever understand your mind, Paul. It’s too unique.  And I suspect that Keira will be insistent on knowing who the call is from. Then again, I don’t know for sure.

I’m sexy and I know it: @Esme

robertnaveen:

Finally landed in Brazil, Robert got out of the taxi that just parked in front of the hotel, holding the door open for Esme. The flight was a torture for him because of his headache which only got worse now. As Esme stepped out he turned around and looked at the big, beautiful looking luxus hotel…

Esme couldn’t believe she was in Brazil with Rob. She got out of the taxi after him and stood in awe. “This is where we are staying? It’s gorgeous!” She walked into the lobby after Rob, looking around with wide eyes. It was nothing like she had seen before. It was a totally different type of architecture than what she was used to. As Rob checked them, Esme continued to look around, trying to commit the image to memory. She had barely heard his question, she was in such awe. Turning back to him, she answered, “Alright. No problem. I’ll shower in the meantime.”

Robert loved that she was amazed by all of this. It was always good to impress a girl, that made things a lot easier. Of course Rob had high hopes for this vacation. He really liked Esme, especially naked, though he knew it was wrong to reduce her to only her body, she was more than that. Robert couldn’t deny, he really liked her. Arriving on the 5th floor, Rob got out the key to open the door to their suite. Walking in he wasn’t disappointed and he knew Esme wouldn’t be either. It was a big suite with a big living room, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and one big bedroom. There was only one more impressing suite which was the honeymoon suite, the only thing that kept him from getting that one was that it already was taken. “That’s a place to stay, huh?”, he asked, throwing himself on the leather sofa.

Esme walked into the room after Rob, looking around with her mouth open and eyes wider than before. It was a huge suite. Bigger than she knew existed. “Oh. My. Gosh. I’ve lived in apartments this size,” she said as she weaved in and out of every space she could, checking each of them out individually as if checking to see that they were all there and not just a mirage. When she was finished, she sat next to Rob on the couch and placed a hand on his knee. “You didn’t have to do all this you know.” She felt like she had to say it. “But something tells me you would have done it anyway,” she said, giving him a playful smirk as she did.

“Only the best for you, perfection.” Rob found her modesty cute. Hotels like this were completely normal to him, no need for humbleness. “Alright, I’ll rush to the bedroom and take a quick nap and you do whatever you feel like. Wake me if I’m not up in half an hour.” He let his fingers slide over her arm before he turned around and walked to the bedroom. Entering it, he jumped on the bed regreting his decision the next second cause it only made his head pound more. He took of his shoes and laid back.

Esme smiled at Rob warmly. She was getting used to his flattery by this point. “Alright hun. I will.” Once she saw him walk into the bedroom, she got off of the couch herself, walking over to their luggage. Opening hers, she grabbed her toiletry bag and walked into the bathroom and closing the door behind her. There was a tub bigger than she had ever seen inside and since she had a half hour, she figured why waist the opportunity? She turned on the water before undressing and getting in. She was able to extend completely, and for quite a while, just laid there before washing herself off. Pulling the drain and getting out, she wrapped a towel around her and walked back into the living room to check the time. Having a few minutes left, she brushed her hair before going to wake Rob. “Rob, hun, wake up.”

Robert was caught up in his dreams as he heard Esme’s voice, in the picture in front of his eyes she was an apple though. He was dreaming of tons of apples and oranges, not having a clue why. He slowly opened his eyes to see Esme’s face in front of him. “Has it been half an hour yet?” Only now he realized she was standing in front of him only wrapped in a towel. He lifted himself up. “You’re looking nice. Could be a little less clothing though.”, he joked, though he definitely wouldn’t mind less clothing. “So what do you want to do, perfect?”

With a smirk, Esme playfully hit Rob. “Hahaha. Very funny. I didn’t think you would mind.” She pushed his legs over a tad before sitting down on the bed, facing him. “Hmmm. We could go into the city? I’ve heard Rio is lively at night. Or we could go by the water? I don’t know,” she said with a shrug. She didn’t particularly mind what they did first. Seeing any part of Brazil was good enough for her. “Are you feeling better? What are you up for?”

“I don’t mind at all.”, he put on a flirtatious look, playfully licking his lips. He got up from the bed, undoing his shirt to change into another one. “You decide. What do you feel like rather doing ?” Rob secretly hoped for her to choose the water so they would have some alone time and maybe get it on a little. “Yes, the headache is gone. What a little sleep can do.” He didn’t realize it was gone until she asked. Walking out to their luggage, he took out a white shirt and pulled it on.

She knew she probably shouldn’t, but Esme watched as Rob changed from one shirt to the other, licking her lips just as he had a second ago. Though Esme wanted to explore, she also wanted something more mello after a day of traveling. Besides, the last time she had been to a beach was with Max, and that was ages ago. “I wouldn’t mind checking out the beach. I’ve heard they are nice. And it should be rid of all of the tourists by now.” She got off the bed too, walking to her luggage to sort through something to wear, picking a striped, short dress.
